ALL ABOUT JOHNATHAN KOLLER

Johnathan is an actor and magician living in Chicago, Illinois. Originally from West Allis, Wisconsin, Johnathan moved to Chicago in late 2012 to further his career in the entertainment industry.

ACTOR

Johnathan started his acting career in 1997 at the age of 9 and performed around Southeastern Wisconsin through out middle school and high school. Some of the venues he performed at include The Pabst Theater, First Stage Children's Theater, The BMO Harris Bradley Center, and Milwaukee Repertory Theater. In high school Johnathan had gained his cords in Theater and Music, and received major letters in Theater Music, and Forensics.  After high school, Johnathan attended the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee from 2006-2010 where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Acting. Within his first year out of college Johnathan became a resident actor for the theater company Kohl's Wild Theater and remained with them until moving to Chicago in 2012.

MAGICIAN

Johnathan has been entertaining and delighting audiences with his fun, interactive, and engaging magic at fairs, festivals, corporate events, and private events between Milwaukee and Chicago since 2017. Johnathan was thrust into the world of magic while working at the Bristol Renaissance Faire in his college years.  What started out as a fun assignment at a summer job quickly grew into a passion and career. He is a frequent performer at the Chicago Magic Lounge and a resident magician at O’Donovan’s Pub and Restaurant (formally Schulien's Restaurant and Saloon, the birthplace of Chicago Style Magic). Johnathan is also a member of the Society of American Magicians, and a member of the Chicago Magic Round Table.

Along with acting and magic, Johnathan has experience as a puppeteer through his work at Kohl's Wild Theater and some Guest appearances on Chicago's WGN Morning News with the Noah Genix Puppet Company performing some skits and bits. 

 

Johnathan has a fantastic voice which allows him to do some character impressions and makes him a strong baritone singer. He also knows how to perform basic swing dancing.
